had a super great gathering with sch mates ytd at sentosa. its our Freshmen Orientation Reunion! i dun know why there's such an outing but it was just super enjoyable. it has been ages i've played so much. and oso definitely the first time every since poly started, i really let my hair down. its rained in the morning. but the sun came out at noon. so i still got my little bit of tanning. :D

hello everyone! guess its time to come back to blog! my readership decreased so pathetically. hahas. poly life is tough, work and assignments are SUPER stress. but am enjoying every single bit of it. cox daddy told me i will be a much stronger person if i can survive this! :D

anyway, i joined taekwondo and Sch of Design Club in poly. i'd say i'm very active with the activities. made lots of friends and getting crazy everyday. singing in class has become my new hobby. not forgetting to visit my SDC clubhouse to chill and do assignments everyday. it has alr become a routine to me! i love my seniors so much cox they are just as crazy as me! and taekwondo seniors too. fun loving ppl. ^^

alright, gonna show you some of my work i've done in my drawing class. we used charcoal to draw. damn cool right?! :D

second week of sch. this is one of the reason why i'm go stress. cox this is just a piece of shit! :(

third week. a little better. but still look shitty.

fourth week. i'm beginning to like drawing class cox i'm improving. my hard work is paying off. :)

fifth week. i'm loving every drawing class alr! love drawing different things!!! :D

sixth week. test week. i seriously think i am getting better and better! :D

hey yo! today marks the first week of my poly life. had fun, but had stress too. really, i've never never knew poly would be so stressful. i am always been those happy-go-lucky type but this time, i became to chiong assignments type of ppl.

must learn how to adapt or i will DIE! 3 out of 5 school days, i only had 5 hours of sleep. no joke, FIVE ok?!!! feeling terribly exhausted but yet cant sleep. and when i set alarm at 7.15am, i will always wake up before that. auto alarm. then prepare for school. OMG OMG OMG! i wonder does my classmates have the same problem as me. :(

but well, all my lecturers had been very kind up till date. except for the two from Visual Arts Studio (VAS). i think they're really unkind. kept hurrying us for our class work. and when we handed up, 99% of the people have to re-do the work. WTF sial! its painting you know. not colouring with colour pencils!!!! they even threw a pile of homework for us during the weekends. god damn. its not like we only study for their module! STRESSSSSSS~

my favourite module is History and Theory of Ideas (HTI). but i only get to see the lecturer 1hr per week. hearing him talk is really i nice thing. love it lots. his words made me ponder a lot and come up with new ideas/ questions. its oso very interesting. i really do hope his lecture will always overrun. LOL. :D

i will be having an interview tmr for School of Design Club. the seniors are nice and they really understand the stress that i'm going through. hanging out with them with make my feel a lot carefree. so, yeah. i gonna join SD club! :D
gonna join teakwondo too. if i cannot cope, i will just quit bah. i must remember!! studies first!!!! cannot be like secondary school le!

hello readers! am back after the four days of orientation.

it was an awesome expirence overall. although it was ve tiring, but the bonds with classmates and GLs are things that i will nv forget. (at least during my 3years in SP)

day 1:
get to know everyone played ice breaking games.
speech by director of SD and get to see our lecturers.

day 2:
more games. there's water games too.
walking round and round SP (its actually half of SP) made my feet ache and tired.

day 3:
bought $276 worth of materials that is need for my classes. SUPER EX AND HEAVY!!
slack for few hours and then when for SPICE training.
i so wanna take a look at the hilltop library!!!!!!

day 4:
flag day @ kovan. yes KOVAN!!!
kudos to the circle line, i only need 30mins to reach there from sembawang.
great GLs made us all meet up at 8.30am. the initial time to meet was 7.30am. *phew*
welcome party was so noisy! cant stand it. left after a while with classmates. :D

i am looking forward to lessons on monday. but i guess it will mean less time for (L). everytime i'm in school, i will think of him. miss him loads.

school orientation starts tmr.
current mood: out of place.

i'm looking forward for school to start. yes, tmr is the day. but somehow, there's some feeling in me that is inexplicable. it just cant be explain using words or any form of emotions. i actually feel frighten going to school alone. i know it have to be overcome but i just cant help feeling scared.

i remember taking school bus for my entire primary school life, and having someone to accompany to school for over 90% for my secondary school life. perhaps too dependant on junxiong of too many things that seems to be "little things" until relying on him becomes a habit. well, i guess this habit only got worsen during last year, where ima alone in a new environment retaking my Os.

i dread of entering a totally new environment. i know the reason why i didnt face the same emotions last year was because junxiong's friends were especially kind to me. we became friends in the very short time because they already knew i was his girlfriend. if it wasn't this fact, i'm pretty sure we won't hit off so fast.

not only issues socially. i'm also worried on academic matters. i aimed for 3.5 for my GPA. but parents think it wasn't enough. they kept putting stress on me caused they felt that i'm already 1year lagging behind. i must say that design is my forte. and i pin high hopes on my poly results. i badly wanted to score well and hopefully, enter a local university after 3years. but it seems that my parents are far more anxious than me. how could i get a 3.8 GPA? all i can do is to learn autocad before school starts but this wouldn't be everything. there are still so many modules. i feel stress, really do.

on relationship, i really want to thank junxiong for the constant care and assurance. entering different poly means we'll have lesser time for each other and i kept feeling that our 2year+ relationship will be affected. he made me believe that this will just be like the previous hurdles that we've overcome and after overcoming each hurdle, our love becomes stronger. thanks for encouraging me baby. without your encouragement, i will not have the courage to face my new poly life.
i promise, i will be your brave girl. :D

went to Escape with sheng siong peeps on 2nd April, GOOD FRIDAY!

it was really a very last min decision cox my dad still asked me to work in the morning. missed badminton session with clique. hope to play with them soon. ^^

met up with junxiong, bock aik, zhi cong, kian tiong, bang rong, jun qi, ahxiang and joey and went escape to buy our tickets. it was actually $17.70 per ticket. but while queueing, some nEbO promoters asked us if we wanna sign up for nEbO membership. for each membership signed, 2free Escape's tickets are given. and members can buy tickets at only $7.70.

bockaik, kian tiong and i signed up and got 6free tickets. bought another 3 tickets at $7.70 and split the membership fee and ticket cost among 9ppl. SUPER DUPER SAVE $$$ LOR!

went to collect my cert and testimonial at NORTH VIEW SECONDARY SCHOOL today with junxiong, sing jin, bock aik and benjamin today! the feeling to step into school as a graduate is so damn shiok! hahas. ate at school and chat with so many teachers!

went to RP after that. ben went home, i guess. hahas. so the four of us went to RP to get junxiong and bock aik's laptop. FUJITSU LH700 rock so much. just that its a little heavy. (: i guess sing jin and i gonna get the same laptop with them too.

wanted to watch Kaiji at causeway point. but its way too early as the movie starts only at 4.55pm. the two guys went back to charge their laptop and then went all met again at chong pang. THEN BUS-ED BACK TO CAUSEWAY POINT!!!!
seems that we are very free. LOL.

nice movie. 6.5/10. should watch la. cox got shuai ge. ^^

bock aik and singjin went home after movie. junxiong and i went nee soon east cc to find lynette. get my clothes. ZOE TEO! YOUR CLOTHES ARE WITH ME TOO!!!!!!

had spent half of my day with junxiong today. hahaha! not date, cox got bock aik oso. (:

went to Yishun Polyclinic to take my xray report in the morning. i seriously think its a waste of time cox everything was NEGATIVE!!! imagine the hassle i've gone through! omg, really hate it ttm. i finally understand why clique says i will had a headache when i start going through the enrolment process. but ima glad to complete more than half of the process. (:

met up with junxiong and junxiong around noon. went RP together cox they need to do their enrolment before NYP's DAE results comes out. hahas. after enrolment went to buy their laptop. this is where we spent hours deciding. i called zoe, germine and john for details and msged ruiting to ask her abt her laptop model, just to find out that all their laptops alr old liao!!! OMG. now no more core 2 dual alr. their latest processor is "i-7". i feel so out of date over there lor. the expressions that the salesman gave made me wanna burry my head into the ground!!!

anyway, they both settled for fujitsu after hours of discussion between lenovo and fujitsu. haha. i psycho-ed them. (:
i oso wan to buy that ve same model if SP sells it. LOVE THAT MODEL TTM. :D

they didnt configure their lappy cox they scared kena enrolled in NYP then need configure again. LOL.

paid my first sem school fees at civic centre's standard chartered. its a total of $1202.35. so much difference from secondary school fees!!!

went to watch Alice in the Wonderland after that. watched it in 3D. its my first my time watching 3D movie. :D
i think $11 for a 3D movie is a bit too expensive. the difference is only those glasses that can form 3D effects when you wear it. well, not bad overall, i mean the effects. some effects even made my heart drop. LOL. 8 out of 10 stars for the movie plus the effects. hahas. (:
pon-ed guzheng, but i thing its worth it. :D

in a nutshell, had a wonderful day today. the fact that i can hang around him makes me feel very happy. hahas. (:

well, i've "wasted" the past two months of 2010 cox there's no school and i dun have a proper job. i dun even have any resolutions for 2010. so, i've come up with my new year resolutions now!!! (:

1. work hard in poly and get good grades. (perhaps a 3.5 for GPA?)
2. be more spendthrift.
3. get some award kind of thing in studies. (if possible)
4. dun always quarrel with family.
5. understand him more.
6. dun quarrel with him.
7. find a job outside to work till poly starts. (if possible)
8. exercise at least twice a week.
9. able to stay in harmony with friends.

now, i only hope junxiong and bock can successfully appeal into SP with mdm lau's recommendation letter. i will pray hard for the both of them. (:

went shopping with junxiong, zoe and john ytd. wanted to shop for CNY clothes.

met zoe and john at 12.30pm at yishun mrt. junxiong and i were late. =P cox i went back to sleep again after zoe "morning sms-ed"me. *sorry*

went to bugis street first. spent a few hours and i only bought a dress. i dun know why it is so difficult to buy clothes this year. i remember spending close to $100 just at bugis street alone last year. =.=
zoe spent most. followed by john, junxiong and then me. nothing caught my eye - though everything seems "nice" to me. its contridicting, i know...

went bugis junction after that. walk around, ate some finger food and headed to far east cox there is nothing to buy...
in the end didnt buy anything at far east too. which is a total sian. *sigh* gonna check out ion, 313, cine and paragon this weekend.

i just keep laughing when i see the pic la. cox his eyes open till big big, expression gong gong de. till now see le still will laugh out. LOL!!!

this is neither the first, second or third shot. just one of those that i feel that both of us looks ok.

i am less into business courses this year cox my parents wanted me to learn something more technical/hands-on. cox more and more ppl are fighting for business courses nowadays. i'll have to compete with those single digit scorers who choose for poly courses in the market when i start working and competition will be tough. what's more, my mum has one whole stack of University notes on Business Administration which is very well kept. before this, i dun even know that mum scored mostly As and few high Bs for Uni. no wonder she always have such high expectations on me. =P

well, was reluctant to let go of my business courses. there are still some business courses, but not in my pirority choices anymore. ):
however, if i get into any business courses listed, i will gladly accept it. :D

gonna work at expo for the next 9days, from 12 to 10pm daily. sad sial. it gonna be very tiring. sigh.... do drop by if you are free. i still dunno hall wad. but its some lifestyle exhibition. ^^

gotten back my results yesterday. i would say it wasn't what i really wanted. but after comparing with some friends, i am the lucky one.

was really very happy to see clique in the hall, to accompany me take the results. i was touched, very very touched. i remember crying even before i get the results. those were tears of mixed emotions - nervous, scared and touched.

"Thank you clique, for the support and encouragement. This year had been hard for me, it was you who guided me through, giving me constant encouragement whenever i felt lost or giving up (esp ruiting and zoe). Without you, i might not have completed Sec 5. Or had already gave up due to the constant F9 for Maths. Thank you so much! BFF."
* type out better yea? its kind of mushy if i say this out! *

anyway, i got 16 points. i thought it was 17, like what clique had counted for me. but mr tan said it should be 16, cox my form A says 16. lol. mugging till 2am every other night had finally paid off. but still kinda disappointed in my CH, DNT and science. i thought i'd do better. but nevermind, its all over. i've still yet to decide what course to enter for JAE. this time, i choose my courses, not courses choosing me. :D

to that young lass,you reap what you sow. never look down on retainees. cause you'll never know when you'll be one. your results are more worse than mine when i first took my O's. this year, when i am busy studying, what were you doing? busy gossiping and hacking people's accounts? there's a price to pay for everything you do.

tomorrow is the day. if i say i'm not scared or nervous, i would be lying then.

my family and some friends had been asking me "how do you think you will do this time?".

i answered "should be alright" (with a smile)

i know, i know i will definitely do better than last year. 26points really sucks big time. but i dun wan to get some pathetic 20points and get stuck cause it ain't very lousy, yet you can't go anywhere. the course i want to enter has a very low COP of 13. i really questioned myself if i can get 13 points. i am afraid, really afraid. so many "what ifs" ran through my mind. cause its my second time taking O's. and my family have high hopes on me.
of cause, i have high hopes on myself too. i do want to get into the course i want and do well in my tertiary education.

i've already wasted one whole year. watching clique moving on to their respective polys, i feel so handicap. it's just like we started running on the same track, although some of us have different speed and pace, we are still close together, encouraging each other to move on, never giving up.
the fact that i repeat my O's this year makes me feel that i had a fall on our very last lap of race and clique continued running because there's no way they could help me. i can only watch them finishing their race, leaving me behind to pick myself up.

tomorrow is the big day. i can only say i've done my best. the results are already set and nothing and change anything. no matter what the result will be, i hope that i will not cry in school. hope that i can control my emotions well.
